Your Visit - FAQ

We Are Eager To Meet You!! Come Worship With Us

  • Welcome

We are excited you are planning your visit to Clay County Christian Church. Check out some of the important information to help your first visit a memorable one!

  • Time Of Services

Coffee and Doughnuts start at 9:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall before Adult Sunday School at 9:30 AM.   The Praise & Worship service begins at 10:30 AM. The Praise & Worship service typically runs about 1 hour.

  • Parking

We have visitor and handicap parking in front of the main entrance to our building. If assistance is needed getting in or out of the vehicle, someone from the congregation is available to assist.

  • Special Needs

Hearing devices are available during the service and can be obtained at the sound booth at the back of the church. We also have walkers, canes and wheelchairs available for use.

  • Attire/What to Wear

The dress code is not a focus. You will see members of our congregation wearing anything from a suit and tie to jeans and a t-shirt. Most members dress casually. We just ask that you dress respectfully for the Lord.

  • What About The Kids

We offer Sunday School at 9:30-10:15 am for kids from 2- 18 years. Kids usually join their parents for part of the worship service that begins at 10:30 and are dismissed to attend Children’s Church when the sermon starts. Our volunteer teachers follow a set age-appropriate curriculum and have had background checks. You and your children are welcome to worship together for the entirety of the service if that is more comfortable.

    Infants

An Infant/Parent Room is located at the back of the sanctuary for parents who need to rock, feed, or change a baby during worship. The service can be heard over the room’s speaker.

  • Communion

Communion is open and available to all baptized believers who desire to participate. Church membership is not required to partake.
